“تم سے مطلب؟” اس نے غصے میں پوچھا۔
“مجھے پتا ہے طوبیٰ سے بات کر رہے تھے۔” امل نے لفظوں کو چباتے ہوئے کہا۔
“ہممم صحیح پہچانا تم نے۔” فرقان نے مسکراتے ہوئے کہا تو اس کے غصے کا گراف اور بھی زیادہ بڑھ گیا۔
“اس نے کال کیوں کی تھی؟” امل نے تفتیشی انداز میں پوچھا۔
“ایسے ہی۔” فرقان نے دل جلانے والی مسکراہٹ اس پر اچھالی اور صوفے پر بیٹھ گیا۔
“میں خالہ کو بتاؤں گی تم کسی اور سے بات کرتے ہو۔” امل نے دھمکی دی۔
“تم بات نہیں کرو گی تو کسی اور سے ہی بات کروں گا۔” فرقان نے چائے کا کپ ٹیبل پر رکھا۔
“مجھے غصہ مت دلاؤ۔” امل نے دبی ہوئی آواز میں کہا۔
“تمہیں صرف غصہ کرنا ہی آتا ہے۔” اس نے جیسے تمسخر اڑایا ہو۔
“تم پہلے بدتمیز تھے مجھے تنگ کرتے تھے مگر اب
دل دکھاتے ہو۔” امل نے کہا تو اس کے ہونٹوں کی مسکراہٹ سمٹ گئی۔
“تم ہر بات دل پر لیتی ہو اور سیریس ہو جاتی ہو اگر ایسا ہی رہا تو بے حس لوگوں کا مقابلہ کیسے کرو گی؟” فرقان نے پوچھا۔
“تم نے مجھے دھوکہ دیا تھا، لندن جانے کے بعد تم نے مجھ سے ایک بار بھی رابطہ رکھنے کی کوشش نہیں کی، اتنی آسانی سے میں سب کچھ بھول جاؤں؟” اس نے سخت لہجے میں کہا۔
“جس طرح تمہیں میری بات بری لگتی ہے، کبھی تم نے سوچا ہے کہ تمہاری کہی گئی باتیں مجھے کتنی تکلیف دیتی ہیں؟” فرقان نے کہا تو وہ خاموش ہو گئی۔
