” ماما ایک ہفتے کی چھٹیاں لی ہیں وہ بھی بہت مشکلوں سے۔ کیونکہ میں اب تھکا ہوا تھا دماغی بھی اور جسمانی بھی۔ اور انسان تب ہی آرام کرتا ہے جب اسے ضرورت محسوس ہو۔” اس نے نرمی سے کہا، پھر اٹھ کھڑا ہوا۔ ماما نے ہاتھ آگے بڑھایا بھی پر وہ نفی میں سر ہلاتا سنک کی طرف چلا آیا۔

” تو کون کہتا ہے ان کمپنیوں میں خوار ہونے کو۔ اپنے باپ کا بزنس ہے۔ اسحاق باپ کا ساتھ دے رہا ہے۔ ان کا بزنس میں ہاتھ بٹا رہا ہے۔ آسیہ ( اسحاق کی بیوی ) نے بھی شوہر اور سسر کا کام بانٹ دیا ہے تم ایک جانے کیوں اپنی ضد پر اڑے ہو۔” ماما نے کافی خفگی سے کہا تھا۔ وہ ہمیشہ والی بات دہرا رہی تھیں جو اس گھر میں وقتاً فوقتاً سب اس سے کہتے تھے۔
