“نہیں۔۔۔۔میری نگاہوں کا دھوکہ نہیں ہو سکتا۔میں نے اس کی آنکھوں میں شناسائی کی امڈتی چھل دیکھی تھی۔اور وہ سب کچھ بھول سکتی ہے لیکن کسی انسان کو ایک ملاقات کے بعد کبھی نہیں بھولتی۔مجھے کیسے نہیں پہچان سکتی۔نہیں وقار اس نے پہچان لیا تھا۔”اس کا انداز عام نہیں تھا۔وہ وقار احمد کو حیران کر رہا تھا۔یہ اس کا دوست عبداللہ جمال الدین نہیں تھا جسے وہ پچھلے آٹھ سالوں سے جانتا تھا۔یہ کوئی اور ہی تھا۔رومانیہ کی قدیمی عمارت کے تہہ خانے میں چھپے کسی راز کی طرح ایک پُر اسرا شخص۔
“شاید اسے جلدی واپس جانا تھا اسی لیے چلی گئی۔
تم اس کے نہ ملنے پر اتنا غمگین کیوں ہو رہے عبداللہ ۔مجھے کیوں کچھ ٹھیک نہیں محسوس ہو رہا۔۔۔؟”
“ایسی بھی کیا جلدی وکی۔۔۔۔پانچ منٹ کو ہی رُک جاناچاہئے تھا۔وہاں سب اجنبی تھے۔اس کے لئے۔۔۔میرے لئے۔۔۔مگر اگر شناسا تھے تو ہم دونوں۔اس کے جیتنے کی خوشی اس کے بعد اگر کسی کو ہوئی ہے تو وہ میں تھا وِکی۔ میں۔۔۔ عبداللہ۔۔۔فاریحہ ایسے کیسے مجھے بھول سکتی ہے۔کیسے اتنی اجنبیت دکھا سکتی ہے۔میں نہیں مانتا ۔”اس پر جنونیت طاری ہو گئی تھی۔آنکھیں لال سرخ ہو رہی تھیں۔اس نے سر دونوں ہاتھوں میں گرا لیا۔وقار کو وہ کوئی پاگل دیوانہ لگا تھا۔آف ٹائم ہو گیا تھا۔امپلائز اپنے اپنے کیبنز سے نکل کر گھروں کو لوٹ رہے تھے۔
“اٹھو عاب۔۔۔تمھاری طبعیت ٹھیک نہیں۔۔۔ہاسٹل چلتے ہیں۔”اس کے ٹیبل سے فائلز سمیٹتے وقار نے حکم دیا تھا۔وہ کسی فرمانبردار بچے کی سی چپ چاپ کھڑا ہوا۔کرسی کی پشت پر لٹکا کوٹ کھینچا اور وقار کے ہمراہ چل دیا تھا۔
