“اِس وقت کال کی خیریت؟”سلام کے بعد دھنک نے چھوٹتے ہی یہ سوال کیا

“آپ سورہی تھیں؟”یلماز کو پچھتاوا ہوا

“آہ نہیں۔۔”میں جاگ رہی تھی۔۔”دھنک نے بتایا

“اچھا۔۔”اِتنا بولتا یلماز خاموش ہوگیا

“تم نے کال کیوں کی؟”دھنک نے جاننا چاہا

“میری کال کرنا آپ کو بُرا لگا؟”یلماز نے اندازہ لگایا

“مجھے بُرا کیوں لگے گا؟”میں نے ویسے ہی پوچھا۔۔”دھنک نے اُس کی غلطفہمی کو دور کرنا چاہا

“مجھے لگا آپ بور ہورہی ہوگیں۔۔”یلماز نے کال کرنے کی وجہ بتائی

“میں بور کیوں ہوگی؟”دھنک کو اُس کا سوال عجیب لگا

“سہی پھر میں کال رکھتا ہوں۔۔”اِتنا بول کر بنا اُس کی سُنے

یلماز نے کال کاٹ دی۔۔”جس پہ حیران ہوتی دھنک اُس کو کال بیک کرنے لگی

“کیا بور ہورہی ہیں؟”کال اُٹھاتے ہی یلماز نے پوچھا

“نہیں یار۔۔”تم بتاؤ کیا کررہے ہو اِس وقت؟”دھنک نے اپنا سر نفی میں ہلاکر اُس سے پوچھا

“میں؟”اُس کے سوال پر یلماز خود کی جانب دیکھنے لگا۔۔

“وہ چاہ کر بھی اُس کو بتا نہیں پایا کہ جس چیز سے اُس کو رُقابت محسوس ہوتی ہے اِس وقت اُس کو سینے سے لگائے بیٹھا ہے اور اُس کے تکیے کو سہلا رہا تھا

“ہاں تم آج موڈ کافی آف لگ رہا ہے تمہارا۔۔”دھنک نے پوچھا

“میں ٹھیک ہوں۔۔”گہری سانس بھر کر یلماز نے بتایا

“اچھا تمہیں سُنانے کے لیے نہ میرے پاس ایک گُڈ نیوز ہے۔۔”دھنک اچانک پرجوش ہوکر بولی

“مجھے سُنانے کے لیے آپ کے پاس کیا گُڈ نیوز ہے؟”یلماز نے پوچھا۔۔”

جو اُس کے لیے دودہ کا گلاس لاتی امبر نے بھی سُن لیا اور اُس کی باچھیں پوری کُھل چُکی تھیں

مورے

“گُڈ نیوز مبارک ہو بھابھی اُمید سے ہے۔۔”امبر کا اِتنا سُننا تھا

اور دودہ کا گلاس واپس لے جاتی چیخ چیخ کر گلا پھاڑ کر “

آسیہ بیگم کو بتانے لگی تو سیل فون کان سے لگائے یلماز کے چہرے پر ایک رنگ آرہا تھا تو دوسرا جارہا تھا

“یہ کون چلا رہا ہے؟”دھنک کو آواز آنے لگی تو ناسمجھی سے پوچھا

“ہمارا بچہ۔۔”بے دھیانی میں بول کر اچانک رُکتا یلماز اپنا

نچلا لب بیدردی سے کُچلتا زور سے اپنے سر پہ ہاتھ مارا
