سُندس جمال ایک باہمت لڑکی تھی جو اپنی زندگی میں کچھ بننا چاہتی تھی۔ اس کا کزن، جو اس کے چاچو کا بیٹا تھا، اس سے بے حد محبت کرتا تھا لیکن کبھی اس کا اظہار نہ کر سکا۔ سندس کی ایک بہن بھی تھی جو اس کی بہترین دوست بھی تھی۔
آٹھ سال بعد رمضان سے پہلے، غازی سِکندر، جو اس کا پھوپھو زاد تھا، ملیشیا سے ایک خاص مقصد کے تحت واپس آتا ہے۔ خاندان میں سب کی آپس میں خوب بنتی ہے۔ غازی سِکندر اپنے ماموں سے سندس سے نکاح کی خواہش کا اظہار کرتا ہے کیونکہ یہ اس کی ماں کی آخری خواہش تھی۔ ماموں کو کوئی اعتراض نہیں ہوتا، اور رمضان سے پہلے نکاح طے ہو جاتا ہے۔
