“تمہارا ہی انتظار کر رہا تھا میں”وہ مسکرا کر اس کے پاس آیا اور اسے سینے سے لگا کر سر پر پیار کیا۔

“بس بس جانتی ہوں میں کتنا انتظار کیا آپ نے میرا۔۔آپ کو تو میں یاد بھی نہیں آتی ہوں گی وہاں جا کر”وہ منہ بنا کر بولی تو وہ ہنس دیا۔

“ارے میرا بچہ میں آپ کو یاد نہیں کروں گا تو کسے کروں گا”وہ اس طرح چلتے کمرے سے باہر آگئے۔

“بس کر دیں بھائی پورے ایک مہینے بعد آپ کی شکل دیکھنے کو ملی ہے۔۔بہت کام کرواتے ہیں وہ لوگ آپ سے”

“بیٹا جی کام بھی تو ضروری ہے۔۔اب دیکھو آگیا ہوں نا میں۔۔اور پتا ہے پورے ایک مہینے کے لیے آیا ہوں”اس نے خوش خبری سنائی۔

“واہ جی واہ پھر تو بہت مزہ آنے والا ہے۔۔ماما کو بتاتی ہوں رکیں”وہ مزے سے کہتی اس سے الگ ہوئی اور نیچے کو چل دی۔

وہ بھی اس کے پیچھے ہی چلا آیا۔

“ماما آپ کو پتا ہے بھائی پورے ایک مہینے کی چھٹی لے کر آئے ہیں”وہ جوش سے بولی۔

“ہاں مجھے پتا ہے”ان کے جواب پر اس کا سارا جوش اڑن چھو ہوگیا۔

“یہ کیا بات ہوئی بھائی آپ نے کیوں بتایا مجھے بتانا تھا نا”اس نے ناراضگی سے اپنے بھائی کو دیکھا۔

“وہ۔۔۔انہیں خود ہی پتا چل گیا تو میں کیا کر سکتا تھا”وہ سر کھجاتا آکر ٹیبل پر بیٹھ گیا۔

“آپ ہمیشہ ایسے ہی کہتے ہیں”وہ بھی اس کے ساتھ والی کرسی گھسیٹ کر بیٹھ گئی۔

“اچھا بھئی ناراض مت ہو۔۔پتا ہے میں اپنے بیٹے کے لیے اتنی ساری چاکلیٹس لے کر آیا ہوں”اس نے رازداری سے اسے بتایا جس پر اس کا چہرہ چمک اٹھا۔

“سچی”اس نے چہرہ اٹھا کر اسے دیکھا

“مچی”اس نے مسکرا کر جواب دیا اور اس کی پلیٹ میں سالن ڈالا۔

“بہت اچھے لگ رہے ہیں سچی اب تو آپ۔۔۔ویسے اور سنائیں وہاں پر لوگوں کے مزاج کیسے ہیں”آخر پر اس نے معنی خیز نظروں سے سوال کیا تو وہ زور سے ہنس دیا۔

“بہت اچھے مزاج ہیں سب کے”ایک نوالہ بنا کر اس کے منہ میں ڈالا جس سے وہ تھوڑی دیر خاموش ہوگئی۔

“اور ان کے”راز داری سے پوچھا گیا۔

“ان کے تو بہت اچھے”راز داری سے بتایا گیا۔

اس جواب پر وہ کھلکھلائی۔

“اچھا اب بس چپ کر کے کھانا کھاؤ”اس نے اسے مصنوعی گھوری سے نوازا اور ایک اور نوالہ اس کے منہ میں ڈالا۔

وہ جب بھی گھر پر ہوتا تھا ہمیشہ اسے اپنے ہاتھ سے کھانا کھلاتا تھا۔ اور ماما ہمیشہ کہتی تھیں “تم نے اس کی عادتیں خراب کر رکھی ہیں” جسے وہ ہمیشہ نظر انداز کر دیتا تھا۔
