“بچوں کو ایسے نہیں کہتے امبر پری۔” ساتھ بیٹھے پانچ سالہ لڑکے نے کہا۔ وہ کشتی سے باہر پانی میں ہاتھ ڈالے اسے اچھال رہا تھا۔ “اریان تمہیں گل بچی لگتی ہے ۔”

امبرپری شکوہ کنا نظروں سے اسے گھورنے لگی۔

“میں بچی ہی تو ہوں۔ دیکھیں میرے ہاتھ کتنے چھوٹے ہیں ۔”گل اسے اپنے ہاتھ دکھاتے ہوئے بولی۔

” ہاتھ تو بچے والے ہیں ۔پر۔۔ زبان بڑوں والی لگ گئی ہے ۔”امبر پری شرارتی انداز میں بولی۔
