یہ منظر ہے اسلام آباد کے کلب کا جہاں امیر خاندانوں کی بگڑی اولادیں رات کے آخری پہر میوزک پر رقص کرنے میں مصروف تھیں- وہیں مشہور و معروف سیاست دان حسن ملک کا بیٹا باسل ملک حرام مشروب مُنہ سے لگائے لڑکی کو باہوں میں بھرے صوفے میں بیٹھا تھا- باسل کے سامنے سنگل صوفے میں دائم سکندر سگریٹ لبوں سے لگائے کسی غیر مرئی نکتے کو گھور رہا تھا چہرے پر بلا کی سنجیدگی طاری تھی وہ کبھی باسل کو گھورتا تو کبھی باسل کے ساتھ چپک کر بیٹھی لڑکی کو.

دائم سکندر اچھے گھر کا سلجھا ہوا لڑکا تھا وہ کبھی نائٹ کلبز کو دیکھنا بھی پسند نہیں کرتا تھا لیکن آج اسے باسل ملک کی دوستی یہاں لے آئی تھی اِس نے باسل کو بہت سمجھایا تھا لیکن وہ کہاں سمجھنے والا تھا باسل ملک کو اِس کی من پسند لڑکی جس سے وہ بے انتہا محبت کرتا تھا وہ اسے چھوڑ گئی تھی تب سے باسل ملک کا یہ حال تھا اُسے کلب آتے ہوئے تین سال ہونے کو تھے

ان تین سالوں میں اِس نے ہر وہ کام کیا جس سے ہمارا دین منع کرتا ہے اِس کے گھر میں کسی کو نہیں پتہ تھا کہ وہ کیا کیا کرتا پھرتا ہے- وہ صبح میں یونی جاتا پھر شام میں ہی گھر آتا رات میں جب سب گھر والے سو جاتے تو وہ بیک ڈور استعمال کرتا کلب چلا جاتا اور فجر کے بعد بھی دائم اِسے سہارا دیے گھر لاتا_
