ماں نے بیٹی کی کلائی کو زور سے پکڑ رکھا تھا، اُس کی آنکھوں میں غصے کی چنگاریاں سلگ رہی تھیں۔ وہ اس کو فرش پر گھسیٹتے ہوئے لے جا رہی تھی

وہ وجود منت کر رہا تھا مگر وہ ظالم بنی ہوئی تھی

“خبردار اگر تم اس کمرے سے باہر نکلی…! میں نہیں چاہتی کہ کسی کو معلوم ہو کہ میری ایک اور بھی بیٹی ہے!”

اُس نے دانتوں کو بھینچتے ہوئے یہ الفاظ کہے اور بیٹی کو دھکیل کر دروازہ بند کر دیا۔

“نہیں ماں! نہیں! دروازہ کھولو… ماں!”

نور چیخ رہی تھی، روتے ہوئے دروازے پر زور زور سے دستک دے رہی تھی۔

“ماں پلیز!”

وہ بے بسی سے دروازے سے پشت لگا کر نیچے بیٹھ گئی، فرش پر بیٹھتے بیٹھتے اُس کی ہچکی بندھ گئی۔

“ماں… دروازہ کھولو…” روح دھیمی آواز میں بولی

پلیز  م–مجھے ڈر لگ رہا ہے ۔ وہ آجائے گا ۔م جھے نکا لیں ۔

آ۔آ۔آ۔وہ زور زور سے دروازہ پیٹتے ہوئے سسکیوں کے ساتھ روتے ہوئے چیخیں مار رہی تھی

یہ کیسا انصاف تھا قدرت کا کے سہارا ہونے کے باوجود وہ بے سہارا تھی ۔ آواز ہونے کے باوجود بےآواز ،گونگی، وہ ایک ان چاہ وجود تھی  یے اور شاید وہ ہمیشہ رہے گی

وہ اب آہستہ سے دروازے کے ساتھ لگے زمین پہ بیٹھی جارہی تھی

سسکیاں اب مدہم ہوری تھی وہ بے آواز لرزتی ہوئی اٹکی ہوئی سانسوں کے ساتھ اپنی آنکھوں موند گئی
