اچھا بیٹا آرام کر لو ۔مغرب کے بعد مہرو اٹھی تو جسم پھتر سا بھاری اور ٹھندا ہوا تھا ۔
بابا ! بابا!
کہاں ہیں آپ ؟
جی بیٹا کیا ہوا یہ ہوں ۔
بابا میرے جسم میں درد اور بخار ہو رہا ۔
اچھا پریشان نہیں ہو چلو ڈاکٹر کے پاس کے جاتا ہوں۔
ڈاکٹر کے پاس لے گئے ۔اس نے کچھ ٹیسٹ کیے ۔مہرو وہاں ہی بیٹھی تھی ۔جب ڈاکٹر نے مصطفیٰ کو بھی اندر بلا لیا ۔
مصطفیٰ سوچ میں پڑ گیا ۔کیونکہ مہرو تو اب سب جان گئی تھی ۔
سر بچی کی والدہ کہاں ہیں ؟
والدہ نہیں ہم علیحدہ ہو گئے ۔بچی کو میں نے ہی پالا ۔
خیر ہے؟
آپ کی بچی میرڈ ہے کیا ؟
جی .
ان کے شوہر کہاں ہیں ؟
وہ ملک سے باہر ہوتے ۔
اس خبر کے سنتے ہی مصطفیٰ کے حواس جواب دے گئے ۔
اور مہرو بالکل ساکت ۔ڈاکڑ نے کچھ ادویات دی اور وہ دونوں گھر آ گئے ۔مصطفی کے سامنے ایک بار پھر سے 20سال والی کہانی الٹ ہو کر چلنے لگی ۔
مہرو تو جب سے گھر آئی بس روئے جا رہی تھی ۔
بیٹا پریشان نہیں ہو تم نے کوئی گناہ نہیں کیا اور نہ ہی اس بچے کا قصور اس لیے اس کا باپ ایک دن ضرور آئے گا ۔وہ بیٹی کو تو ہمت دیتا ۔مگر خود اندر سے ٹوٹ گیا تھا ۔
مہرو شہر بانو اور منیبہ سے ملی گھر کو تالا لگایا۔
مصطفیٰ نے سامان ٹیکسی میں رکھا سب سے ملے گھر کو آخری بار دیکھا ۔سب سے رخصت لی اور ریلوے اسٹیشن کی جانب بڑھ گئے ۔وہاں پہنچ کر سارا سامان اپنے لیے ہوئے برتھ میں رکھا کچھ کھانے کی چیزیں ۔ٹکٹ لی اور ٹرین میں سوار ہو گئے ۔
پورے رستے مہرو کھڑکی سے باہر دیکھتی رہی کہیں سبزہ تو کہیں پانی وادیاں چھوٹے چھوٹے گاؤں سے ہوتے ہوئے ۔صبح سے شام ہو گئی اور 9گھنٹوں کی مسافت کے بعد وہ پنڈ کے قریبی ریلوے سٹیشن پر گاڑی روکی اور اتر گئے ۔
وہاں سے رکشہ لیا اور پنڈ اپنے گھر کی طرف روانہ ہو گئے
مہرو تو بس دیکھتی ہی رہ گئی ۔دو ہی تو کمرے اور چھوٹا سا صحن تھا بیٹا تم اس کمرے میں رہ لو ۔مصطفی نے تالا کھولا ۔وہاں ایک سنگل بیڈ دو کرسیاں چھوٹی سی الماری اور بک ریک تھا ۔یہ پہلے میرا کمرہ ہوا کرتا تھا ۔اب تمہارا ۔
مہرو نے کمرے کی صفائی رات گئے ہی شروع کر دی ۔جالے اتارے ساری صفائی مکمل کی ۔بیٹا کیا آج ہی سب کر لو گی ۔بابا بہت گندا ہے اس میں نیند کہاں اے گی ن
نئی چادر بچھائی ۔الماری سیٹ کی اور رات کو عشاء پڑھ کر لیٹ گئی ۔
مصطفیٰ نے آ کر کمرے کا دروازہ بند کیا اور خود دوسرے کمرے میں سونے چلا گیا ۔
مہرو کروٹیں بدل رہی تھی اسے شاہ بار بار یاد آ رہا تھا ۔کہیں نہ کہیں وہ اسے محبت کرنے لگی تھی ۔شاہ کی یاد آتے ہی مہرو نے بے اختیار آپنا ہاتھ اپنے پیٹ پر رکھا ۔
کہاں ڈھونڈنے وہ کیسے بتائے ۔
جو کہتے تھے محبت کرتا ہوں ۔اج اس کے ہی بچے کی ماں بننے والی ہوں ۔کیوں کیا میرے ساتھ ایسا اگر محبت ہی کرتے تھے پوری رات روتے اور کروٹیں بدلتے گزر گی ۔
