اپنی اسٹڈی میں بیٹھے ٹیبل پہ پڑے کاغذ پہ وہ لکھ رہا تھا۔

“نور! میرا دل آج بھی تمہیں یاد کرتا ہے۔ یہ گلٹ کہ تمہارے ساتھ ہونے والی زیادتی کا ذمےدار میں تھا۔ اس نے پانچ سال تک مجھے سونے نہیں دیا۔ تمہارے قاتلوں کو انجام تک پہنچا چکا ہوں لیکن یہ تمہیں واپس تو نہیں لا سکتا۔  تمہیں خط لکھتا ہوں، جانتا ہوں تم یہ کبھی پڑھو گی نہیں مگر کیا کروں، رابطے کا یہی تو ذریعہ ہے۔ مجھے اس بات پہ معاف کردینا کہ تمہاری آخری خواہش کو پورا کرنے میں بہت وقت لگادیا میں نے۔ ایک بات کا اعتراف ضرور کروں گا، تمہاری اس خواہش نے مجھے بہت بدل دیا ہے، سب بہتر ہونے لگا ہے، کبھی دل کرتا تھا کہ بس خود کو ختم کردوں مگر اب جیسے جٓینے کی وجہ مل گئ ہے۔ وہ بہت اچھی ہے، مجھے اس سے محبت ہونے لگی ہے اور اب تو زینب۔۔۔”

“بابا۔۔” اسکی دو سالہ بیٹی آئ تو وہ ایک دم اسکی طرف متوجہ ہوا۔

“جی بابا کی جان۔۔” اس نے اپنی بیٹی کو گود میں اٹھا لیا۔

“پارک۔۔۔” وہ باہر کی طرف اشارہ کرنے لگی، تو وہ سٹڈی سے باہر نکل گیا۔

“اقراء!!” اس نے کچن میں جھانک کر آواز دی۔ “جی۔” اس نے پلٹ کر کہا، آتھ سالوں نے اسے بدل دیا تھا، ارسم اور زینب کو دیکھ کر وہ مسکرائ۔

“ہماری پرنسس کو پارک جانا ہے، تم چلوگی ساتھ؟” ارسم نے دروازے میں کھڑے کھڑے پوچھا۔

“نہیں، اقراء نے آنا ہے تو میں ابھی گھر پہ ہی رہوں گی، تم بھی جلدی آجانا۔” اس نے انکار کردیا۔

“ٹھیک ہے۔ زینو، ماما کو باۓ کرو۔۔” آرام نے فاریہ کو ساتھ لگایا۔

“باۓ۔” اس نے معصومیت سے کہہ کر ہاتھ ہلایا، جس پہ فاریہ نے اسکا گال چوما تو ارسم ہولے سے ہنس دیا۔
