حسد کی آگ

اب بس حویلیاں داخل ہو چکی تھی، جہاں ان کو اترنا تھا۔ سب باری باری اترنے لگے، جبکہ زارا کو ایک عجیب سی جھجھک محسوس ہو رہی تھی

۔ وہ اپنے دل کو سنبھالتی، جنید صاحب کے پیچھے پیچھے اترنے لگی۔مگر یہ منظر مناہل کے لیے ناقابل برداشت تھا۔

زارا کو جنید صاحب کے پیچھے اترتے دیکھ کر اس کے دل میں حسد کی آگ بھڑک اٹھی۔ زارا جیسے ہی بس سے باہر آئی، مناہل نے تیزی سے آگے بڑھ کر زارا  کو ایک طرف کیا اور اس پر اپنی نفرت کا اظہار کیا۔

“ویسے تم بڑی پاکدامن اور ستی ساوتری بنی پھرتی ہو، اب کدھر گیا تمہارا وہ روپ؟ سر کے ساتھ بیٹھتے ہوئے زرا بھی شرم نہیں آئی تمہیں، زارا؟” مناہل کی آواز میں جلن اور نفرت کی تپش صاف سنائی دی

۔زارا نے ایک لمحے کے لیے مناہل کی طرف دیکھا، اس کی آنکھوں میں بے بسی تھی مگر جلد ہی اس نے خود کو سنبھالا۔

“مناہل، اپنی حد میں رہو تو تمہارے لیے بہتر ہوگا۔ اگر تمہیں سر کے ساتھ بیٹھنے کا اتنا ہی شوق تھا تو ان سے کہہ دیتی۔”زارا کی بات سن کر مناہل کی آنکھوں میں غصہ مزید بڑھ گیا، مگر وہ خاموش ہو گئ۔

زارا کی بات نے مناہل کو خاموش تو کر دیا،

مگر اس کے دل میں جلتی حسد کی آگ اب بھی کم نہ ہوئی تھی۔

زارا آہستہ آہستہ قدم بڑھا رہی تھی، اس کے دل میں کئی سوالات اور خدشات موجزن تھے۔ وہ اپنے آپ کو مضبوط دکھانے کی کوشش کر رہی تھی مگر اس کے دل کی دھڑکنیں تیز ہو رہی تھیں۔ جنید صاحب ایک طرف جا چکے تھے اور زارا نے ایک گہری سانس لی۔

وہ سب حویلیاں کے مشہور امبریلا واٹرفال پہ رکے تھے۔ زارا نے ایک نظر سب پر ڈالی اور ایک کونے میں پتھر پہ جا کر بیٹھ گئی۔

مناہل اب بھی زارا پر غصہ تھی، مگر اس نے اپنے جذبات کو قابو میں رکھا۔ وہ بھی ایک طرف جا کر بیٹھ گئی، مگر اس کی نظریں مسلسل زارا پر تھیں۔ اسے یہ بات ہضم نہیں ہو رہی تھی کہ زارا جنید صاحب کے اتنے قریب کیسے آ گئی۔
