محب کے کمرے سے باہر نکلتی ہوئی وہ ہال میں آئی تو ڈائننگ ٹیبل پر موجود منظر دیکھ کر صوفیہ اپنے دل پر ہاتھ رکھتی ہوئی بےساختہ بولی کیوکہ سامنے ٹیبل پر ہوا میں اڑتی ہوئی پلیٹ اس سے پہلے موحد کے سر سے ٹکراتی، موحد بروقت اپنا سر نیچے کرچکا تھا جبکہ کچن سے باہر نکلتا ہوا عبدل بھی اپنی سمت آتی ہوئی پلیٹ کو دیکھ کر چوکنا ہوا اور فوری طور پر اپنے بچاؤ کے لیے ایک سائیڈ پر ہوکر دیوار سے چپک گیا۔۔۔ پلیٹ اُس سے تھوڑی دور فاصلے پر دیوار سے لگنے پر چھناکے سے ٹوٹ گئی اور اس پلیٹ میں موجود آملیٹ دیوار پر چپک کر نیچے گرگیا

“پیاز کیوں ڈالی میرے آملیٹ میں، میں نے کل بھی بکواس کی تھی کہ پیاز والے آملیٹ سے مجھے شدید چڑ ہے، کس کو مرنے کا دل چاہ رہا ہے صبح صبح میرے ہاتھوں سے”

مغیث عالم کی گرجدار آواز پورے ہال میں گونجی تو عبدل کی جان پر بن آئی کیونکہ آج بھی غلطی سے صوفیہ کا پیاز والا آملیٹ مغیث کے آملیٹ کی جگہ پر رکھ چکا تھا

“تم نے آج بھی اس چکنی چمبیلی کے غم میں میرا پیاز والا آملیٹ ایک سڑیل انسان کے آگے رکھ دیا تمہیں معلوم نہیں ہے مغیث عالم کو پیاز اور پیار دونوں سے کتنی بڑی چڑ ہے”

صوفیہ ہال میں آتی ہوئی اپنے دونوں ہاتھ کمر پر رکھ کر عبدل پر برس پڑی۔۔۔۔ جس پر مغیث غصے میں سرخ آنکھوں سے  صوفیہ کو گھورنے لگا جبکہ لسی پیتے ہوۓ موحد نے کوشش کی تھی کہ کُلّی کی صورت لسی اُس کے منہ سے باہر نہ نکل پڑے
