 سخت ٹھٹھرتی سردی میں شیدے کے ہوٹل میں بکھرے سے حلیے میں سونا یاد آیا گرمیوں کی تپتی رفیق چوان کے اڈے میں موالیوں کے ساتھ  بیٹھ کہ سگریٹ پینا اسکے ہاتھوں پہ لگی ّمیلا کرتا، پائینچوں کا تخنوں تک  کا فولڈ کرنا ، سب مناظرات  نگاہوں میں گھوم گئے   گلی میں لفنگے دوستوں کے ساتھ اونچے قہقے اُنکی سماعت بن گئے _____”

؎ آج کے بعد عشرتِ مجلسِ شامِ  غم کہاں

دل نہ لگے گا تیرے بعد پر تیرے بعد ہم کہاں

اپنے اس بیٹے کو  گلیوں میں پھرنے والے آوارہ شخص سے تشبیہ دی اسے عزتوں کا لیٹرا کہا آنکھوں میں بغاوت دکھاتا سرکش گھوڑا,باپ کے سامنے ڈرتے ہوئے منمائٹ ، بیوی کےلیے لڑتا ہوا،  ماں کا بگڑا ہوا لاڈلا سپوت لاکھوں بہنوں کے محافظوں کی حفاظت کرتا خود الوداع ہوگیا

جسے اپنی اولاد نہیں بلکہ قسمت کا  سیاہ دھبہ سمجھتے رہے وہ ظلمت کی  اندھیر کوٹھڑیوں میں درخشاں ستارہ بن کہ چمکا تھا جسے کھوٹا سکہ کہتے رہے وہ جرا”ئم کی دنیا میں آگ سے کھیلنے والا بےخطر کھلاڑی بن کہ  کندن ہوتا اپنی قمیت کا اندازہ بتاگیا  ___”
