چاہت بدحواسی سے ویٹنگ چیئر پر بیٹھے انس کی جانب مڑی سر اثبات میں ہلاتا ہوا وہ  زاویان کا نمبر ڈائل کرتے ہوئے کوریڈور کے وسط کی جانب پیش رفت کرگیا تھا ڈاکٹر دروازہ کھول کر باہر آتے ہی چاہت سے مخاطب ہوئے تھے جو انکو باہر آتے دیکھ کر سراسیمگی کی کیفیت میں انکی جانب پیش قدمی کرگئی۔

“پیشنٹ کی حالت بہت نازک ہے انہیں ہارٹ اٹیک ہوا ہے اور ہائی بلڈ پریشر کی وجہ سے دماغ کی ایک نس بریک ڈاؤن کرگئی ہے،، جو کہ بےحد خطرناک ثابت ہوسکتا ہے،، آپ پلیز دعا کریں.. . ایکسکیوزمی”

ڈاکٹر افسردگی سے کہہ کر چاہت کو تنہا چھوڑ کر جاچکے تھے وہ آنکھوں میں نمکین پانی لئے دونوں ہاتھوں کو لبوں پر رکھتی ویٹنگ چیئر پر ڈھے گئی تھی۔

“ڈیڈ … یہ سب آپکی وجہ سے ہورہا ہے آپکے گناہوں کی سزا ہے….شٹ”

پیشانی کو دونوں ہاتھوں میں گراتے ہوئے وہ روتی چلی گئی سفید رنگت مسلسل رونے کی وجہ سے سرخی مائل پڑچکی تھی وہ ہاتھ کی پشت سے چہرا صاف کرتے ہوئے کوریڈور سے اندر آتے اشفاق صاحب کو دیکھ کر تیزی سے اٹھی انکے ہاتھ میں چند کاغذات تھے جن پر نظر پڑتے ہی چاہت ٹھٹکی۔

“یہ پراپرٹی کے پیپرز ہیں جو کہ مہر کے نام ہیں…. جاؤ اور ان پر اسکا انگوٹھا لگا کر آؤ..”

چاہت کی آنکھیں انکی بات سن کر ویران ہوئی،، وہ جو کب سے زاویان کو قصور وار ٹھہراتی آرہی تھی آج اسے اپنے باپ سے بےحد گھن محسوس ہورہی تھی جو لالچ کے چکر میں اس حد تک گر بیٹھا تھا۔

“آپ نے سیرت کو بیچ دیا۔۔۔  ڈیڈ”

وہ دھیمے بےحس لہجے میں بولتی اشفاق صاحب کو چونکا گئی۔

“ہاؤ ڈیئر یو۔۔۔۔۔ ڈو دیٹ….میں سب بتا دوں گی زاویان کو”

وہ بدحواسی سے انکو دور دھکیلتی چیخی اشفاق صاحب نے آس پاس دیکھ کر ایک زوردار تھپڑ اسکے چہرے پر رسید کیا دہکتے چہرے پر ہاتھ رکھتی وہ ہکا بکا رہ گئی وہ ہاتھ اٹھا چکے تھے اس پر.

“ایک لفظ اور نہیں بےوقوف ،، اپنے باپ کو قبر میں اتار کر خوشی نصیب ہوگی تمہیں،،، کمزات چلو میرے ساتھ ابھی اسی وقت تمہارا شمس سے نکاح ہوگا اور اگر تم نے انکار کیا تو جان سے مار کر پھینک دوں گا میں تمہیں ،، کہیں کچرے میں، میری بد اندیش اولاد نے ہمیشہ اس زاویان رضوی کی طرف داری کی ہے ،، میرے سکھ کے دن تو آنے نہیں دو گے تم لوگ ….. گنوار عورت چلو میرے ساتھ”

چاہت کے بالوں میں انگلیاں پیوست کئے وہ اسے کھینچتے ہوئے کوریڈور کی جانب پیش رفت کرگئے۔
