ان کے گھر کے سامنے آ کر اس نے دستک دینے کے لیے ہاتھ اٹھایا تو دروازہ خود بخود کھل گیا تھا کیونکہ ان تینوں کے جانے کے بعد کسی کو دروازے کو کنڈی لگانے کی توفیق نہیں ہوئی تھی وہ کندھے اچکاتے وہ دروازہ کھول کے اندر داخل ہوا تھا مگر صحن میں درخت کی چھاؤں کے نیچے بیٹھی دادو پھپھی کو دیکھ کے اس کا رنگ اڑا تھا”یہ پھر آ گئی ہیں اس سے پہلے کہ ان کی نظر تم پہ پڑے ارسلان میاں یہاں سے بھاگ لو” ارسلان خود سے بڑبڑاتا واپسی کے لیے مڑا تھا مگر بری قسمت دادو پھپھی کی نظر اس پہ پڑ چکی تھی”اوئے لڑکے رک ادھر آ” ان کے بلانے پہ ارسلان مرے مرے قدم اٹھاتا ان کی طرف بڑھا تھا اپنے کمرے میں بیٹھی نویرہ بھی دروازہ کھلنے کی آواز سن کے کمرے سے باہر آئی تھی اور ارسلان کو دادو کی طرف بڑھتے دیکھ کر اسے ہنسی آئی تھی اس کی پچھلی درگت وہ ابھی تک بھولی نہیں تھی”جی” ان کے پاس پہنچتے ارسلان کے حلق سے پھنسا پھنسا جی نکلا تھا “تم بھی حسین کے ہونے والے داماد ہو نا؟” انہوں نے اسے اوپر سے نیچے تک دیکھتے پوچھا تھا اور ارسلان نے بس سر ہلانے پہ اکتفا کیا تھا”نام کیا ہے تمہارا؟ اور کچھ کرتے بھی ہو یا ابھی تک پڑھ ہی رہے ہو؟” دادو کے اگلے سوال پہ ارسلان کا دل کیا اپنا سر پیٹ لے ابھی ڈیڑھ مہینہ پہلے ہی تو اس نے بتایا تھا کہ وہ ابھی پڑھ ہے اور ڈیڑھ مہینے بعد وہ پھر وہی سوال کر رہی تھیں “جی ارسلان نام ہے میرا اور ابھی تک پڑھائی مکمل نہیں ہوئی” ارسلان نے تحمل سے جواب دیا تھا”لو بھلا مجھے تو ان شہریوں کی سمجھ نہیں آتی گھوڑے گھوڑے جتنے ہو گئے ہیں اور ابھی تک ان کی پڑھائیاں ہی ختم نہیں ہو رہیں وہ دوسرا بھی کہہ رہا تھا ابھی پڑھ رہا ہوں چلو خیر ہمیں کیا” تھوڑی پہ ہاتھ جماتے وہ بڑبڑائی تھیں اور آخر میں ہمیں کیا کہہ کے کندھے اچکائے تھے “لڑکے تجھے یہ نہیں پتہ جس گھر میں منگنی ہو شادی تک وہاں نہیں آتے ہمارے گاؤں میں تو منگنی سے شادی تک کے دورانیے میں لڑکا لڑکی اک دوسرے کو دیکھتے تک نہیں ہیں بات کرنا تو دور کی بات ہے” دادو نے اتراتے ہوئے اپنے گاؤں کا ذکر کیا تھا “آپ کا گاؤں بھی آپ کی طرح عجوبہ ہی ہے” ارسلان دھیمے سے بڑبڑایا تھا”کیا منہ ہی منہ میں بولے جا رہا ہے اونچا بول” اس کے ہلتے ہونٹ دیکھ کر دادو نے اسے گھرکا تھا”کچھ نہیں میں تو کہہ رہا تھا میں تو نویرہ کی انگلی کا سائز پوچھنے آیا تھا اماں نے بھیجا تھا آپ پلیز اسے کہہ دیں” ارسلان نے ہڑبڑاتے ہوئے بات بنائی تھی دادو کے آواز دینے سے پہلے ہی نویرہ ہنستے ہوئے اندر گئی تھی اور اک سادہ سا چھلا لیے باہر آئی تھی تا کہ ارسلان کو دے سکے”یہ تم نے کدھر منہ اٹھایا ہوا یہ مجھے دو میں دے دیتی ہوں تم اندر جاؤ دوبارہ میں تمہیں اس کے سامنے نہ دیکھوں” دادو نے نویرہ کے ہاتھ سے چھلا جھپٹتے ہوئے اسے جھاڑ بھی پلائی تھی اور اس دفعہ ہنسنے کی باری ارسلان کی تھی”لڑکے کون سا لطیفہ سنایا ہے کسی نے یہاں جو دانت نکال رہا ہے یہ پکڑ اور اپنی شادی تک دوبارہ یہاں شکل مت دیکھانا” دادو نے چھلا ارسلان کے ہاتھ پہ پٹختے ہوئے کہا تھا ارسلان کا چہرہ اترا تھا اور نویرہ نے اپنی مسکراہٹ ضبط کی تھی”میں تو آؤں گا بلکہ روز آؤں گا میری بہنوں کی شادی ہے اور میں نہ آؤ امپوسبل” ڈھٹائی سے انہیں جواب دیتے ان کی کسی جوابی کارروائی سے پہلے وہ وہاں سے بھاگ کھڑا ہوا تھا اس کے جاتے نویرہ بھی اندر کی طرف بڑھ گئی تھی مبادا کہی توپوں کا رخ اس کی طرف نہ ہو جائے پیچھے دادو بس بڑبڑا کے رہ گئی تھیں
