زوہا بے بسی سے کہتی ہوئی مرحہ کو رو دینے کی آخری انتہا پر نظر آئی۔

، تمھیں یہ چھوٹی سی غلطی لگتی ہے زوہا؟؟ ، اگر کل تمھیں ذوھان شاید نا دیکھتا اور تمھیں یہاں سے جانے سے نا روکتا تو تم تو یہاں سے چلی جاتی، مگر پھر اپنی وہ عزت اپنے لیے سب کی نظروں میں کہا سے لاتی جو آج ذوھان کی وجہ سے آج بھی تمھارے لیے سب کی نگاہوں میں قائم ہے، ہاں بتاؤ۔؟؟”
وہ ضبط سے استفسار کرنے لگی اسے اب اپنی سمجھدار بہن حد سے زیادہ بے وقوف دیکھائی دینے لگی تھی۔ شرمندگی کے مارے زوہا سے کوئی جواب نا بن پڑھا اور اسے اپنی کل کی حرکت پر شرمساری سی ہونے لگی۔ وہ خاموشی سے کھڑی اپنی نگاہوں کو جھکائے ضبط سے اپنے اندر آنسو کو اتارنے لگی۔
آج تم مجھے اس کے قابل نہیں لگ رہیں
جو باتیں مرحہ اسے ابھی کہہ رہی تھی وہ باتیں تو وہ کل ہی تسلیم کر چکی تھی۔ کے واقعی ذوھان اگر گھر والوں کو سب کچھ بتا دیتا تو کیا عزت رہ جاتی گھر والوں کی نظر میں اس کی۔ مگر ذوھان نے ایسا نہیں کیا تھا۔ اور ایسا نا کرکے وہ زوہا کی نظر میں معتبر بن گیا تھا۔ اس کو خاموش دیکھ مرحہ کچھ سوچ کر بولی۔
سچ کا آئینہ دیکھا
” بڑی افسوس کی بات ہے نا زوہا، کے جس لڑکے کو تم آج سے پہلے اپنے قابل نہیں سمجھتی تھی، آج تم مجھے اس کے قابل نہیں لگ رہیں۔”
مرحہ نے باغور اسے دیکھ کر تلخی سے کہہ کر اسے آئینہ دیکھایا۔ زوہا نے اپنی سرخ ہوتی سیاہ آنکھیں اٹھا کر سامنے کھڑی اپنی بہن کو دیکھا جو اسے سچ کا آئینہ دیکھا رہی تھیں۔
اس کے اداس چہرے اور سرخ ہوتی آنکھوں کو نظر انداز کرکے مرحہ پل بھر کو ٹھہر کر وہاں سے چلی گئی تھی۔ جبکہ وہ اپنی آنکھوں کو کرب سے بند کرکے اپنے آنسوؤں کو گالوں پر بہہ کر آجانے کی اجازت دے چکی تھی۔ اس کی حالت سے بے خبر اپنی ہی دھن میں آتی جمیلہ ٹیرس پر آکر باغور اسے دیکھ کر بولی۔
