Episode 10 Sneak From the Novel

“کیا۔۔۔کوئی ہے یہاں؟”۔ ایک بار پھر اس نے آواز دی۔ اس بار بھی جواب میں کوئی نہیں بولا۔
اب اس کا دل صحیح معنوں میں خوف کا شکار ہونے لگا۔ وہ بخوبی محسوس کر سکتی تھی کسی کی وہاں موجودگی۔۔۔اور یہی وہ عجیب احساس تھا۔

“جواب کیوں۔۔۔سسس!”۔ بیڈ سے اتر کر اس نے ایک قدم اور آگے بڑھایا جب پیروں کے سامنے آئی رکاوٹ کی وجہ سے وہ نیچے گر پڑی۔ اس کے گھٹنے زمین سے جا لگے تھے لیکن زخمی ہاتھ کسی نے سخت شکنجے میں لے لیا تھا۔ تکلیف کی شدت سے اس نے آنکھیں زور سے میچ لیں۔

“آخرکار تم آ گئی۔۔۔عمورہ!”۔ اس کے مقابل کرسی پر بیٹھے عکس نے اپنے اور اس کے درمیان حائل خاموشی کو توڑا۔ وہ اس کے قدموں کے پاس نیچے گری پڑی تھی۔
نزدیک سے ابھرتی اس آواز کے سرد پن نے حجاب کا دل مٹھی میں بھینچ لیا تھا۔ لمحے کے ہزارویں حصے میں اس کی پلکیں وا ہوئیں تھی اور اوپر تلے کی سانس اوپر اور نیچے کی نیچے رہ گئی۔
اندھیرے کے باوجود وہ ان نگاہوں کی تپش اپنے چہرے پر محسوس کرسکتی تھی۔ جو اسے جلا کر خاکستر کردینا چاہتی تھیں۔

اپنی گرفت میں موجود اس کے ہاتھ پر عکس نے کوئی شے بندھی ہوئی محسوس کی تھی۔ غالباً پٹی بندھی ہوئی۔
“لگتا ہے درد کی دوا کرنے والا کوئی مسیحا مل گیا تمہیں!”۔ اس کی آواز میں طنز پوشیدہ تھا۔ حجاب کے زخمی ہاتھ پر اس کا زور بڑھتا چلا گیا تھا۔ اذیت سے دوہری ہوتی ہوئی وہ چیخنے کے قریب تھی جب دوسرا ہاتھ اس نے اس کے منہ پر رکھ کر اس کی چیخ کا گلا گھونٹا۔

“ششش! مجھے شور بالکل پسند نہیں”۔ بھاری لب و لہجہ اپنی تمام تر سفاکیت سمیت اس کے کانوں سے قریب تر گونجا تھا۔ زخم کو سیئے ہوئے ٹانکے ادھڑ چکے تھے۔ نا تو حجاب کی آنکھوں سے جاری ہوتا پانی اس کی سختی کو نرم کر پایا تھا۔۔۔اور نہ ہی زخم سے رستا خون!
