او لڑکی بتا کدھر چھپایا ہے اپنے بھائ کو__پولیس کانسٹیبل عورت نے اسے دھکا دیا اور کمرے میں گھس گئ. .  وہ سیدھی صوفے پر جا گری .  کُہنی صوفے سے لگی تو درد کی ایک تیز لہر اس کے رگ و جاں میں سرائیت کر گئ. .  . 

نہیں ہے سعدی گھر پر. .   کُہنی کو دوسرے ہاتھ سے تھامے وہ پیچھے بھاگی. . . . 

او لڑکی ابھی ہم جا رہے ہیں مگر پھر آئیں گے تیرا بھائ آ گیا تو خود ہی بتا دینا. .  بچنے والا نہیں ہے وہ. . . .  پولیس والا انگلی اٹھا کر تنبیہ کرنے لگا. .  وہ ڈری سہمی سی پیچھے کو ہوئ.   بازوں ابھی تک درد کر رہا تھا. . . 

پولیس والے دروازہ دھڑام سے کھولتے چلے گۓ. . .  اس کی رکی سانس بحال ہوئ. . . . 

وہ گھٹنوں میں سر دے کر زمین پر بیٹھ گئ. . .  آنسؤ روانی سے اس گے گالوں سے ہوتے ہوۓ گردن کو بھگو رہے تھے. . . 

دانی. .  بیٹا دروازہ کیوں کھلا ہوا ہے. . . . .  اس کی ماں جو مارکیٹ گئ ہوئ تھی.  واپس آنے پر گیٹ کھلا دیکھ کر چونکی. . .  مگر دانی کو یوں روتے دیکھ کر تو ان کی جان ہوا ہوئ. .  

دانی میری بچی. . .  وہ بھاگتی ہوئ اس کے پاس آ بیٹھیں. . 

اماں. . .  ماں کو سامنے پا کر وہ ان کے لگے لگ گئ. .  ذیادہ رونے کی وجہ سے اس کی ہچکی بند گئ تھی. . .  ان کے گلے لگ کر اور پھوٹ پھوٹ کر رو دی تھی. . . . 

اماں وہ پولیس آئ تھی سعدی کو ڈھونڈ رہی تھی. . .  وہ ہچکیوں کے درمیان بولی. .   . 

پھر کیوں آئ تھی سعدی نہیں ہے یہاں. . . .  ان کے اپنے آنسو بہہ نکلے تھے. . . . 

بتایا تھا اماں وہ مان ہی نہیں رہے تھے. . .  وہ یوں ماں سے چپکی تھی کہ جیسے کوئ الگ کر دے گا ان دونوں کو. . . . 

بس تم چپ کر جاؤ میرا بیٹا. .  بس. .  وہ اسے تسلی دیتی تھیں چپ کرواتی تھیں مگر خود رو دیتی تھیں. . .  تین ماہ سے سعدی غائب تھا اوپر سے پولیس نے ناک میں دم کر رکھا تھا. . . .
