“چھوڑ دو مجھے ٹائیگر! تم میرا کچھ نہیں بگاڑ سکتے۔” قید میں ہونے کے باوجود بھی اس کی ہمت کو داد دینا تو بنتی تھی کیونکہ وہ رسیوں میں جکڑا تھا مگر سامنے موجود نوجوان کو للکار کر کہہ رہا تھا۔

“اور تمہیں ایسا کیوں لگتا ہے شوکت کہ ٹائیگر تمہارا کچھ نہیں بگاڑ سکتا؟” کرسی سے ٹیک ہٹا کر وہ اس پر جھکتے ہوۓ دھواں اسکے چہرے پر چھوڑتا مطمئن لہجے میں بولا۔

“کیونکہ میرے لوگ تمہیں زندہ نہیں چھوڑیں گے۔”

“اوہ! میں تو ڈر گیا تمہاری دھمکی سے۔۔۔۔دیکھو میں تمہیں جانے دیتا ہوں۔ پر پلیز اپنے لوگوں کو مجھ تک نہ پہنچنے دینا ورنہ وہ مجھے کہیں کا نہیں چھوڑیں گے۔ مجھے جان سے مار دیں گے اور مجھے اپنی جان بہت پیاری ہے۔” عجیب سے منہ بناتے ہوئے وہ منت والے انداز میں بظاہر اسکے لفظوں کا حظ اٹھا رہا تھا۔

“کیا لگتا ہے تمہیں شوکت؟ ٹائیگر کسی سے ڈرتا ہے؟ ہنہ! تم تو کیا۔۔۔۔۔تمہارا باپ بھی قبر سے اٹھ کر میرے سامنے آ جاۓ تو اس کا بھی قیمہ قیمہ بنا کر کتوں کے سامنے ڈال دوں گا۔” آنکھوں میں آنکھیں ڈالے وہ بغور اس کے چہرے کو دیکھ کر گرجا۔

“تم نے ایک معصوم لڑکی کی عزت کو داغدار کیا۔۔۔۔اس کے گھر والوں کو جھوٹے کیس میں جیل میں بھجوا دیا۔۔۔۔اور وہ بیچاری اس معاشرے کے ڈر سے خودکشی کرنے پر مجبور ہو گئی۔ اتنے غلیظ گناہ کرنے کے باوجود بھی تمہیں لگتا ہے کہ ٹائیگر تمہیں جانے دے گا اور کچھ نہیں کہے گا؟۔۔۔نہ نہ نہ نہ۔۔۔۔۔بلکہ تمہیں تو میں اتنی دردناک موت دوں گا کہ تمہاری موت کا تصور کر کے بھی تمہارے لوگ کانپ اٹھیں گے۔” بے خوفی سے اپنی نگاہیں اس کے چہرے پر گاڑھے اس نے لہجے میں تپش لیے کہا اور اگلے ہی پل اپنی پشت پر کھڑے ایک لڑکے کی طرف بنا دیکھے ہاتھ بڑھایا تو وہ ایک تیز دھار چاقو اس کے ہاتھ پر رکھ گیا۔ پھر وہ کرسی کو ٹانگ مار کر فرش پر گراتے ہوئے اٹھ کر کھڑا ہوا اور اسکے قریب گیا۔
