اپنی زندگی کا بہترین عکس دیکھنے میں اتنی مصروف مگن ہو کہ

ماں کے بارے میں کبھی نہیں سوچا تم نے ۔  نہ پوچھا نہ بتایا نہ کوئی بات کی ۔

۔میں تمہیں بتاؤں تمہاری ماں کون تھی ؟”وہ ہر لفظ چباچبا کرسرد لہجے میں اس کی آنکھوں میں جھانکتا کہہ رہا تھا۔

“جاننا چاہتی ہو ؟”وہ بظاہر بے حد سکون سے پوچھ رہا تھا پر اندر الاؤ دہک رہا تھا

جو آج تہس نہس کردینے کی طاقت رکھتا تھا۔

“سبحان “بی بیگم نے اسے باز رکھنے کی کوشش کی تھی پر وہ ضبط کی

آخری حد پر کھڑا تھا آر یا پار کے دہانے پر تھا کیسے پلٹ آتا ۔

“بتاؤں تمہیں؟ “وہ پورے قد سے اس کے سامنے کھڑا بےحد سرد لگ رہا تھا

اسے پہلی بار خوف محسوس ہوا انجانی حقیقت کا خوف پر ہونی کو کون ٹال سکتا تھا ۔ اس کے اگلے لفظ اتنے سرد اتنے برف تھے کہ وہیں منجمد کر گئے۔

“تمہاری ماں مہرالنسا اسی نیچ گھٹیا ملازم کی چھوٹی بہن تھی

عاروشہ ابراہیم۔۔ اسی حقیر مخلوق کی بہن جسے تم اور تمہارا باپ

جوتی کی نوک پر رکھنا جانتے ہو، پوچھنا اپنے باپ سے اگر یوسف

کریم کی اولاد کا حوالہ قابلِ ذکر نہیں ہے تو مہرالنسا کی

بیٹی کو سینے سے کیوں لگایا اس نے ۔ اس سے پوچھنا اگر سبحان

کو اس کی ماں کی بدکرداری کی سزا اب تک مل رہی ہے تو

مہرالنسا کی بدکرداری کا گناہ اس کی بیٹی کے سر پر کیوں نہیں ہے؟”

اس کا لفظ لفظ نیزے کی صورت اس کے وجودنیزے کی صورت اس کے وجود پر گڑھ رہا تھا

اور وہ زمین میں دھنستی جا رہی تھی وہ بے یقین تھی ۔ وہ جھوٹ بول رہا تھا

ہاں وہ جھوٹ بول رہا تھا ایسا کیسے ممکن تھا۔
