اگر اسکے پاس پسٹل ہوتی تو وہ اپنا کام بہت پہلے کرچکا ہوتا۔تم فکر مت کرو۔ اسکا ہمیں نقصان پہنچانے کا کوئی ارادہ نہیں ہے ۔”

“وہ کب سے ہمارا پیچها کررہا ہے؟تمہیں کب پتا چلا؟  ” سبرینا نے پریشانی سے استفسار کیا ۔

“جب ہم کیفے سے نکلے۔” انکا پیچها کرتا شخص اک مناسب فاصلہ رکھ کر چل رہا تها۔ موڑ مڑتے تیمور اگے بڑهنے کی بجائے اندهیری سڑک کے آغاز پر ہی دیوار کے ساتھ لگ کر کهڑا ہوگیا۔

“تیمور ۔” سبرینا کے لہجے میں واضح خوف جهلک رہا تها۔

“شش، میرا یقین کرو۔ کیا میں تمہیں کبهی خطرے میں ڈالوں گا؟” اسکی آنکھوں میں دیکھتے تیمور نے سرگوشی کی۔

“تم پر یقین ہے۔لیکن یہی یقین اپنی ذات کے بارے میں بهی مجهے سونپ دو کہ تم خود کو بهی کسی مصیبت میں نہیں ڈالو گے۔”سبرینا کے کہے جملے نے تیمور پر اسکی پسندیدگی آشکارا کردی۔ اس اعتراف پر لمحے بهر کو اس نے آنکھیں بند کیں۔ اس کے لب مسحور کن مسکراہٹ میں ڈهلے۔

وہ اس شخص کے قدموں کی آواز قریب ہوتی محسوس کرچکا تها ۔
