اس کونے والی سائیڈ پر بہت زیادہ اندھیرا تھا ابھی میں یہ سوچ ہی رہا تھا کہ مجھے پیچھے سے پھر کسی کے غرانے کی آواز سنائی دی جسے سنتے ہی میرے جسم میں خوف کی لہر دوڑ گئی اور میرے رونگٹے کھڑے ہو گئے کیونکہ اس وقت میں اس جگہ پر بالکل اکیلا کھڑا ہوا تھا اور آواز بالکل میرے پیچھے سے آئی تھی تو میں نے آہستہ آہستہ سے اپنی کانپتی ہوئی گردن گھما کر اپنے پیچھے دیکھا تو میری جان ہی نکل گئی کیونکہ مجھے سے کچھ ہی فاصلے پر وہ بڑی سی خوفناک ہاتھوں پیروں والی کالی سی پرچھائی کھڑی ہوئی تھی اس کے بازوں اور ٹانگیں بہت ہی عجیب اور ٹیڑھی میڑھی تھیں اور وہ رات میں کسی بلب کی طرح چمکتی ہوئی بڑی بڑی آنکھوں سے میری طرف دیکھ رہی تھی اس دوران اس کی سانسوں سے خوفناک غراہٹ کی آواز سنائی دے رہی تھی اسے دیکھتے ہوئے نا تو میری آواز نکل رہی تھی اور نہ ہی میرے ہاتھ پاؤں میں حرکت کرنے کی ہمت ہو رہی تھی میں اس کی طرف دیکھتے ہوئے آہستہ آہستہ سے وہاں سے پیچھے ہٹنے لگا اتنے میں خوفناک سے ہاتھ نے میرا بازو پکڑ لیا اور میرا پورا جسم خوف سے لرز گیا کیونکہ اس ہاتھ پر کسی خونخوار جانور کی بڑے بڑے بال اور نوکیلے ناخن تھے جو میری جیکٹ کو چیرتے ہوئے میرے بازو پر چبھ رہے تھے مجھے سمجھ نہیں آرہا تھا کہ میرا ہاتھ کس نے پکڑا ہوا ہے کیونکہ میری ہمت ہی نہیں ہو رہی تھی کہ میں اس کی شکل بھی دیکھ سکوں جبکہ کالی پرچھائی تو میرے سامنے کھڑی تھی لیکن سائیڈ سے میرا ہاتھ کس نے پکڑ رکھا تھا
