” حسن تم پاگل ہو گئے ہو۔۔۔ میں اس لڑکی سے نکاح کرنے لگا ہوں۔۔۔ کوئی گناہ تو نہیں کر رہا میں اس سے محبت کرتا ہوں۔۔۔ اور یہ بھی مجھ سے محبت کرتی ہے تمہیں کیا مسئلہ ہے”۔ ملک دلاور نے بڑی دیدہ دلیری سے جھوٹ بولا ۔ ایک دم تسلیم آگے بڑھی۔
” بڑا شوق تھا ناں تمہیں میرا محبوب دیکھنے کا۔۔۔ یہ سامنے ہی تو کھڑا ہے”۔ تسلیم نے یہ کہہ کر ملک دلاور کے سر پر بم ہی پھوڑ دیا تھا۔ جبکہ علی حسن بھی ہونقوں کی طرح تسلیم کو دیکھنے لگ گیا۔ پھر کچھ سوچتے ہوئے آگے بڑھا۔ لیکن ملک دلاور نے اس کا بازو بڑی زور سے تھاما۔
” حسن یہاں سے نکل جاؤ۔۔۔ میں اس لڑکی کو کسی بھی قیمت پر نہیں چھوڑ سکتا”۔ ملک دلاور کے دماغ پر تسلیم اتنی سوار تھی کہ اس کو یہ بھی نظر نہ آیا کہ اس کے سامنے اس کا چھوٹا اور لاڈلا بھائی کھڑا ہے۔ کچھ سوچتے ہوئے ملک علی حسن نے اپنے بڑے بھائی کو گھسیٹ کر دوسرے کمرے میں بند کر دیا۔ ملک دلاور کے آدمی خاموش تماشائی بنے ہوئے تھے کیونکہ ان کو کچھ سمجھ نہیں آ رہی تھی کہ وہ کس بھائی کا ساتھ دیں۔جبکہ ملک دلاور کمرے میں بند شور مچا رہا تھا۔ اس کا ایک آدمی آگے بڑھا۔تو علی حسن بھی غصے میں آگے بڑھا۔
” اگر کسی نے دروازہ کھولنے کی کوشش کی تو گولی سے اڑا دوں گا”۔ وہ غصے سے دھاڑتے ہوئے بولا۔ پھر مولوی صاحب کی طرف بڑھا۔
” مولوی صاحب نکاح پڑھائیں”۔ وہ ایک دم سے ایک فیصلے پر پہنچ کر مولوی کی طرف دیکھ کر بولا۔ تو سب نفوس حیران ہوگئے۔
” میری طرف ایسے کیا دیکھ رہے ہیں۔۔۔ میں آپ کو کہہ رہا ہوں کہ میرا نکاح اس لڑکی سے پڑھائیں”۔ ملک علی حسن اپنے اندر کے اشتعال کو دباتے ہوئے بولا۔ کیونکہ اس سے یہ بات ہضم نہیں ہو رہی تھی کہ اس کا بڑا بھائی اتنا گھٹیا بھی ہو سکتا ہے۔
” میں آپ سے کچھ بات کرنا چاہتی ہوں”۔ تسلیم ایک دم سے علی حسن کے قریب آ کر بولی۔
” جو بھی بات ہو گی نکاح کے بعد ہوگی۔” علی حسن اٹل لہجے میں بولا۔ تو تسلیم چپ کر کے بیٹھ گئی۔
