مرتضی نے پریام کے لبوں پر انگلی رکھی۔

“اگر وہ میرے لیئے اہمیت رکھتی تو آج تمہاری جگہ وہ اس کمرے میں ہوتی۔میں نے تمہیں پہلے بھی کہا تھا پریام کہ اس  کی میری زندگی میں کوئی اہمیت نہیں ہے۔سب کچھ میرا تمہارے لیئے ہے۔”

“مگر وہ آپ کی بیوی ہیں اور میں یہ بات کبھی بھول نہیں سکتی۔”

ماروی آج بابا کے ساتھ پریام کی طرف آئی تھی۔پریام کے پاس ہی اس کی والدہ رہ رہی تھی۔ماروی کو بابا زبردستی لے گئے کہ تمہارے بھانجے پیدا ہوئے ہیں تم نے ان کو دیکھا نہیں اب تک۔ماروی بہت بے دلی سے بابا کے ساتھ اس بڑے محل چلی گئی جہاں انسانوں کو بہت حقیر سمجھا جاتا تھا۔ماروی لان میں جانے لگی تو اس کا سامنا ہاشم سے ہوا جو شاید کہیں جارہا تھا۔

ماروی کو نہیں پتا تھا کہ ہاشم محل میں رہتا ہے۔

“ہیں میں یہاں۔کیا تمہاری بہن نے تمہیں نہیں بتایا کہ سوتیلا بیٹا ہوں اس کا میں۔”

ماروی حیران ہوگئی کہ اسے کیسے پتا نہیں چلا کہ یہ ہاشم رئیس سے دوستی کر بیٹھی تھی ۔
