آپ کام چھوڑ دیں اب۔۔ خوش بخت ان کے پاس کرسی گھسیٹ کر بیٹھی۔
وہ بروقت مسکرائے۔
بیٹیاں پرائے گھر کی ہوتی ہیں بخت۔۔ ساری زندگی بیٹی کی کمائی نہیں کھا سکتا۔ تمھیں اپنے گھر کا سوچنا چاہیے اب۔ وہ اس کے سر پہ ہاتھ رکھنے لگے۔ خوش بخت نے انھیں دیکھا۔
پرایا تو نہ کریں آپ کی بیٹی ہوں، اتنا گھس گھس کے آپ کا گھر چمکاتی ہوں اور آپ مجھے پرایا کہہ رہے ہیں، وہ ناک سکوڑ کر معصومیت سے بولیں۔ خالد صاحب ہنس دئیے۔
بھئی تمھارا گھر ہی ہے پر۔۔۔۔۔
معاویہ انتظار کر سکتا ہے ابا۔۔۔ اس نے مجھے پابند نہیں کیا نا ہی بے جا ناجائز حکم کی بیڑیوں میں جکڑا ہے۔ وہ پڑھا لکھا مرد ہے اور سمجھدار بھی اور سمجھدار مرد عورت پہ بوجھ نہیں ڈالتے۔۔۔ جملے کاٹتی خوش بخت نے مسکرا کر باپ کا ہاتھ تھاما۔ باپ کے کھردرے ہاتھ نہ نجانے کیوں بیٹیوں کو ریشم لگتے ہیں۔ وہ ان ہاتھوں پہ ہاتھ پھیر رہی تھی۔
اسلام آباد کب جانا ہے؟ باپ نے اس کے مرجھائے کو انگلی سے اٹھا کر پوچھا۔
اس ہفتے! وہ ٹھنڈی سانس لیکر بولی۔
ہر میدان فتح کر کے آؤ۔۔ انھوں نے اس کے سر پہ دست شفقت پھیرا۔
آپ کی دعا ساتھ ہوئی تو ضرور۔۔ وہ مسکرائی پھر باپ کے کندھے پہ سر رکھا ۔ پھر اٹھی اور پلٹی مجھے تیاری بھی کرنی ہے کہہ کر اس نے کمرے کی سمت دیکھا۔ حمدان کے کمرے کے وسط میں اس کی وہیل چئیر تھی وہ باپ بیٹی کو حسرت سے تکے جا رہا تھا۔ خوش بخت کی مسکان سمٹی۔۔ بھائی۔
وہ اس کی طرف بڑھی تو غیر ارادی طور پہ حمدان نے چئیر پیچھے کو دھکیل کر دروازہ بند کیا اور خوش بخت دم بھر کر رہ گئی
آپ کا خواب کیا ہےحمدان بھائی؟ چنار کے اسی درخت تلے بیٹھا معاویہ حمدان سے پوچھ رہا تھا۔ ہنسو گے تو نہیں؟ وہ کتاب بند کر کے سیدھا ہوا۔
کچھ کہہ نہیں سکتے۔ وہ گردن کو گول گھماکر آگے ہوا۔
حمدان نے منہ بسورا۔۔
یار خواب دیکھنا ۔۔ اس کا یہ کہنا تھا کہ معاویہ کی ہنسی چھوٹی۔
تب ہی نہیں بتا رہا تھا ۔ وہ منہ بگاڑ گیا۔
اچھا سوری! معاویہ ایک دم سنجیدہ ہوا۔
حقیقت سے بس ہو گئی ہے میری۔
نہ جانے ہم کب تک لوگوں کی زندگی جئیں گے؟اپنی نہیں۔
مجھے سنگر بننا ہے اور دیکھو میں گھر والوں کے لئیے ڈاکٹری کر رہا ہوں….
ہم میں سے نہ جانے کتنے لوگ ہیں جو دوسروں کے کہنے پہ جی رہے ہیں۔۔۔
مطلب ہم نے اپنی خواہشات کہیں نظر بند کر دی ہیں۔ معاویہ ٹکٹکی باندھے اسے دیکھ رہا تھا۔
مرنا نہیں چاہتا میں یار، بس نارمل زندگی جینا چاہتا ہوں جو صرف میری ہو۔
میری طرز پہ چلنے والی، میرے مطابق، جس میں میرا گائیڈ بھی ہوں، فیصلے بھی میرے۔
حمدان مسکرایا تھا۔
معاویہ مسکرا نہ سکا۔
سچ تھا، ہم نے کبھی اپنی زندگی تو جی ہی نہیں، کتنے خوش قسمت ہوتے ہیں وہ لوگ جن کی کمانڈ وہ خود ہوتے ہیں، کوئی دوسرا نہیں۔۔
حمدان نے پیڑ سے ٹیک لگا کر آنکھیں موند لیں اور گنگانے لگا۔ آواز میں ٹھہراؤ تھا، شاید شکایت بھی۔۔
