سب اس وقت لاؤنج میں موجود تھے,

ایک کاؤچ پہ آغا جان براجمان تھے, جن کے ایک طرف ذرغم زیدی اور دوسری طرف ابتہاج زیدی بیٹھے انہیں دلاسہ دے رہے تھے۔

وہ لوگ تو پہلے مرتسم سے بہت خفا تھے کہ وہ جان بوجھ کر نہیں آیا, لیکن یہ خبر سننے کے بعد انہیں ڈھیروں ڈھیر پریشانی نے آ گھیرا تھا۔

ابھی وہ سب ایک دوسرے کو تسلیاں دینے میں ہی مصروف تھے کہ اچانک لاؤنج کے دروازے سے انہیں عرزال اور روباص کے ساتھ دو وجود آتے دکھائی دیے۔

جن میں سے ایک تو مرتسم تھا, جبکہ دوسرے وجود کو دیکھ کر سب کی حالت یوں تھی, جیسے کاٹو تو لہو نہیں۔

یہ لڑکی کون ہے,؟؟ آغا جان مرتسم کو بلکل ٹھیک ٹھاک اپنے قدموں پر چل کر آتا دیکھ سرعت سے اپنی نشست سے اٹھ کھڑے ہوئے, اور گرجدار آواز میں سوال داغا۔

اتنے میں وہ چل کر ان کے مقابل آ کھڑا ہوا,

آغا جان یہ میری بیوی ہے,۔؟؟؟؟ اس کا انکشاف تمام نفوس کو کچھ پلوں کےلیے اپنی جگہ ساکت کر گیا۔

یہ کیسا مذاق ہے,؟؟ آغا جان کو اپنی سماعتوں پر یقین نہ آیا, کہ انہوں نے جو سنا ہے کیا وہ سچ ہے بھی یا نہیں۔

یا کچھ غلط سن لیا ہے۔

مذاق نہیں, حقیقت ہے آغا جان, یہ میری بیوی ہے,؟ وہ اس دفعہ ذرا بلند آواز میں بولا۔

جس کے ساتھ ہی پورے لاؤنج میں چٹاخ کی آواز گونجی,

جس سے سب کا نا صرف سکتہ ٹوٹا, بلکہ سب کی نظروں کا مرکز مرتسم زیدی بن گیا,

جو آغا جان کے تھپڑ سے اپنے سرخ و سفید گال پر ہاتھ خاموشی سے نظریں جھکائے کسی مجرم کی طرح کھڑا تھا۔

آغا جان, روباص مرتسم کی حمایت میں آگے بڑھنے لگا جب انہوں نے ہاتھ کے اشارے سے اسے وہیں روک دیا۔

آج ہم بولیں گے, اور کوئی بیچ میں نہیں آئے گا۔

ان کی کڑک دار آواز پر عالیانہ بیگم بی جان اور ذرغم صاحب کے کچھ بولنے کےلیے وا لب وہیں تھم گئے۔

ہمیں ایک بات بتاؤ, تم سب نے ہمیں سمجھ کیا رکھا ہے,

کہ جس کا جب دل چاہے گا, نکاح کرے گا, اور لڑکی اٹھا کر گھر لے آئے گا, ہم تو سمجھتے تھے کہ تم ہمارا سر کبھی نہیں جھکنے دو گے,

لیکن تم نے یہ ثابت کر دیا, کہ تم بھی اپنے دونوں بھائیوں کی طرح ہو, چلو ان دونوں کی بات تو پھر بھی ٹھیک تھی, کیونکہ یہ اپنے ہی خون کو اس گھر میں لائے تھے, لیکن تم نے تو ساری حدیں پار کردیں۔

ان کا بس نہیں چل رہا تھا کہ وہ مرتسم کو کڑی سے کڑی سزا کس صورت میں دیں۔

آغا جان میری بات سنیے, اس نے سب سننے کے بعد تحمل سے کہا۔

ہمیں کچھ نہیں سننا, دفع ہو جاؤ, وہ آگ بگولہ ہوئے۔

سننا تو آپ کو پڑے گا, اس لڑکی کی ماں کا ایکسیڈنٹ ہو گیا تھا, اور ان کا انتقال ہو گیا,

جو کچھ میں نے کیا,اگر اس وقت میری جگہ پر آپ بھی ہوتے, تو وہی کرتے,

جو میں نے کیا ہے, میں نے اس کی ماں سے وعدہ کیا تھا,

کہ اسے اپنا نام دوں گا,

اور میں نے وہی وعدہ نبھایا ہے,

اور بھائی نے مجھے سب کچھ بتا دیا ہے, کہ امل کا ارحم سے نکاح ہو چکا ہے, اور آغا جان خاندانی اصولوں سے زیادہ انسانیت کے اصول ضروری ہوتے ہیں,

جن میں سب سے پہلا اصول یہ ہے کہ کسی کی مجبوری میں اس کا ساتھ دینا, نہ کہ پیٹھ دکھا کر بھاگ جانا۔

ہمارا مذہب ہمیں خاندانی یا روایتی درس نہیں دیتا۔

بلکہ انسانیت سکھاتا ہے, اور میں نے جو کیا مجھے اس پر کوئی شرمندگی نہیں, کیونکہ میں نے ایک مظلوم بےسہارا لڑکی کو اپنے نکاح میں لیا ہے,

میں تو اللہ کا شکر گزار ہوں کہ اس پاک ذات نے اس نیک کام کےلیے مجھے چنا ہے۔

اس کی باتوں اور سچائی کے سحر میں یہاں موجود تمام نفوس گرفتار تھے, کتنی خوبصورت بات کہی تھی اس نے۔
