Short Glimpse

“محترمہ۔۔۔۔۔!!” میں اپنی گھبراہٹ چھپاتے ہوئے بولا۔

“جی فرمائیں۔۔؟ یہاں کیا کر رہے ہیں۔۔؟”

اس نے تیزی سے جواب دیا۔

“م۔۔م۔۔۔۔میں آپ سے کچھ کہنا چاہتا ہوں۔۔”

میں نے لڑکھڑاتی زبان سے بمشکل چند الفاظ ادا کیئے۔۔

“جی؟ فرمائیں۔۔؟؟”

اس نے اکتاہٹ اور حیرانگی سے بھرپور آواز میں جواب دیا۔۔

“وہ میں۔۔۔ میں نا۔۔ میں آپ سے محبت کر بیٹھا ہوں۔۔ لیکن کوئی زبردستی نہیں ہے۔۔ یہ آپ پر منحصر ہے۔۔ میری محبت کا مان رکھ لیں۔۔ یا پھر۔۔ اسے ٹھکرا کر منہ پہ دے ماریں۔۔”میں نے مٹھیاں بھینچ کر جواب دیا۔

چند لمحات کے لیئے میری طرف دیکھنے کے بعد وہ ہنسنے لگی۔

“شکل سے تو آپ بڑے معتبر اور سیدھے سادھے سے لگتے ہیں۔۔ یہ کن چکروں میں پڑ گئے آپ؟؟ ویسے آپ جانتے ہیں۔۔ یہ مردوں کی محبت بھی نا۔۔ کسی شریر بچے کی اٹکھیلیوں جیسی ہی ہوتی ہے۔۔ یہ دل پر دستک دے کر بھاگ جاتے ہیں۔۔ لہذا میری مانیئے۔۔ چھوڑیئے ان کاموں کو۔۔ یہ دروازہ نہیں کھلنے والا۔۔”

اس نے شرارت سے بھری آنکھوں سے مجھے گھور کر دھیمے لہجے میں جواب دیا۔۔

میری حالت اس وقت ایسے مسافر کی سی تھی جو اپنا سب کچھ لٹا دینے کے بعد اپنے راستے سے بھی

بھٹک چکا ہو۔۔ میں بوجھل قدموں کے ساتھ وہاں سے چل دیا۔۔ یوں محسوس ہوتا تھا کہ جیسے اپنے جرم کی سزا سننے کے بعد۔۔ میں سزا کاٹنے کسی قید خانے کی طرف بڑھ رہا ہوں۔۔ مگر کیا کیجئے؟ محبت کی طبیعت میں زبردستی کہاں پائی جاتی ہے؟؟ میں بھی اس سے دور جا کر ایک اور درخت کے نیچے گھٹنوں میں سر رکھ کر رو دیا۔۔ مجھے اپنی محبت سے کچھ مطلوب نہ تھا۔۔ مگر میرا مان۔۔ کہ وہ میری محبت کو جانے کی۔۔ میرا یقین۔۔ کہ میرے جذبات اس کے نازک سے دل کو چھو کر تو گزریں گے۔۔ سب کچھ میرے سامنے۔۔ میرے قدموں میں۔۔ پٹخ کر پھوڑ دیا گیا تھا۔۔ میرے دماغ پر ایک دھواں سا چھایا تھا۔۔ ہاں وہی دھواں۔۔ جو میرے احساسات کو ایک قہقہے میں جلا دینے کے بعد اٹھا تھا۔۔ نجانے کتنی دیر میں وہاں بیٹھا روتا رہا اور اس کے بعد اٹھ کر۔۔ دربار کی جانب چل دیا۔۔

میں سرخ آنکھیں لیئے دربار کے احاطے میں چپ چاپ بیٹھا تھا کہ تبھی بابا جی نے آکر حسب عادت سوال پوچھا۔۔ “ہاں میاں۔۔ کہو آج کیوں آئے ہو؟؟”

” بابا جی یہ محبت اتنی دردناک کیوں ہوتی ہے؟؟ ہم کیوں اتنے بے بس ہو جاتے ہیں کہ اس درد کا علاج نہیں کر پاتے۔۔ علاج ڈھونڈنا ہی نہیں چاہتے۔۔ سامنے آجائے تو اس علاج سے دور بھاگتے ہیں۔۔ خود ہی اپنے آپ کو چند غیبی بیڑیوں میں جکڑ دیتے ہیں؟؟ اور یہ درد۔۔ یہ درد بھی ایسا کے کمبخت مٹھاس دیتا ہے۔۔ اس درد کا ناغہ ہو جائے تو بے قراری مار دیتی ہے۔۔ باباجی یہ درد ہے یا کوئی نشہ؟؟ یہ کیسا مےخانہ ہے جہاں ساقی پلاپلا کر مدہوش کر دیتا ہے۔۔ کوئی مدہوشی میں گر جائے تو سہارا دینے بھی کوئی نہیں آتا۔۔ مجھے اس سے کوئی گلہ نہیں۔۔ وہ تو محبوب ہے۔۔ محبوب تو بے نیاز ہوتا ہے۔۔ لیکن میں خود کیوں اس کی جانب کھنچا جاتا ہوں؟؟ مجھے اس درد کی کیسی لت لگ چکی

ہے؟؟” میں جذبات کے دھارے میں بہہ کر نجانے کیا کیا کہتا گیا۔
