شہناز بیگم لاؤنج میں بیٹھیں کسی سے فون پر بات کر رہی تھیں۔۔ وہ خاموشی سے دوسرے صوفے پر بیٹھ گئی۔ہاں بیٹا سب ٹھیک ہے۔۔ تم بتاؤ کب تک آرہے ہو؟دوسری طرف سے کچھ کہا گیا۔چلو سہی ہے۔۔ خیر سے آؤ۔شہناز بیگم نے زرتاشہ کی طرف دیکھا۔۔ وہ انہیں ہی دیکھ رہی تھی۔یہ لو زاویار زرتاشہ سے بات کرلو پاس ہی ہے وہ۔ان کی بات پر زرتاشہ کو بےچینی ہونے لگی۔۔ مگر دوسری طرف سے کچھ کہا گیا تو شہناز بیگم نے دبے دبے غصے میں کہا۔۔ایک تو تمہارے کام ختم نہیں ہوتے۔۔ ٹھیک ہے جاؤ کرلو کام۔۔ اللہ حافظ۔۔ کہہ کے انہوں نے رابطہ منقطع کر دیا۔زرتاشہ کی آنکھوں میں پانی بھر گیا۔۔ تو شہناز بیگم نے کہا۔۔ کوئی آگیا تھا۔۔ زاویار نے کام سے جانا تھا ان کے ساتھ۔۔ اس لیے کہہ رہا تھا تمہیں تھوڑی دیر تک خود کال کر لے گا۔اس نے سر اثبات میں ہلا دیا۔پھر بہت دیر گزر گئی اسے زاویار کی کال کا انتظار کرتے کرتے مگر اس نے کال نہ کی۔۔ آخر ہمت کر کے اس نے خود ہی اسے کال ملا دی۔۔ بیلیں جاتی رہیں مگر کسی نے اٹینڈ نہ کی۔زرتاشہ نے غصے سے اپنا فون پٹخ دیا۔پھر کچھ سوچ کر شہناز بیگم کے پاس گئی۔۔ ماما آپ کا موبائل چاہیے تھا۔۔ کچھ دیر کے لیے مل سکتا ہے؟ہاں بیٹا اس میں پوچھنے والی کیا بات ہے۔۔ وہ پڑا ہے لے جاؤ۔۔ وہ جلدی سے موبائل لے کر واپس آئی اور زاویار کو کال ملائی۔ماما کے نمبر سے تو اٹینڈ کریں گے نا۔۔ وہ سوچ ہی رہی تھی کہ کال اٹیڈ کر لی گئی۔اسلام و علیکم ماما۔۔ کیا ہوا خیریت؟ زاویار کی آواز کانوں سے ٹکرائی۔۔ آج کتنے دن بعد وہ اسے سن رہی تھی۔زرتاشہ سے کچھ بولا نہ گیا۔۔ ہیلو۔۔ ماما؟ وہ پریشان ہوا۔زار۔۔ میں۔۔ آپ کی۔۔ تاشہ۔۔ لفظ ٹوٹ ٹوٹ کر ادا ہوئے۔دوسری طرف گہری خاموشی چھا گئی۔زار۔۔ آپ چپ کیوں ہو گئے۔۔ بولیں ناں۔ کیوں فون کیا ہے؟ سخت لہجے میں پوچھا گیا۔آپ۔۔ میری کال کیوں نہیں اٹینڈ کر رہے تھے؟ آپ مجھ سے ناراض ہیں؟زاویار نے کوئی جواب نہ دیا۔زاویار پلیز بولیں۔۔ آپ خاموش کیوں ہیں؟اس نے گہرا سانس خارج کیا۔۔ جہاں کوئی تعلق ہی نہ ہو وہاں کیسی ناراضگی؟زار۔۔ زرتاشہ کے لب ہلے مگر آواز نے ساتھ نہ دیا۔۔ آنکھوں سے پانی چھلک پڑا۔۔ دونوں طرف گہری خاموشی چھا گئی۔۔ کچھ دیر بعد دوسری طرف سے لائن کاٹ دی گئی۔
