اب تو تمہیں شادی کر لینی چاہیے، مرد کے بغیر عورت کی زندگی مشکل ہوتی ہے۔ یہ جملہ اسے پھر ان ستم بھری یادوں میں دھکیل گیا، جہاں سے پھسلتی، گرتی، سنبھلتی وہ آگے بچ بچا کر بڑھ ہی آئی تھی۔
صبح کا وقت تھا، جب چرند پرند اپنی آوازوں سے سنگیت سناتے پھر رہے تھے۔ ان آوازوں کا ملاپ گٹاروں کی مصنوعی آوازوں سے کوسوں بہتر معلوم ہوتا تھا۔
اپارٹمنٹ میں اس وقت خاموشی تھی۔
جگہ جگہ رکھے گملے بتلا رہے تھے کہ مالک کھلی سانس لینا چاہتا ہے، مگر دنیا سے پردے میں، دور کہیں کٹیا بسا کر۔
الارم آج نہیں بجا تھا، مگر آنکھ روٹین کے مطابق اپنی آفس ٹائمنگ میں کھلی تھی۔
سلیپنگ پلز بھی ٹھیک سے کام نہیں کر رہیں تھیں۔
بیڈ پر دراز،وہ لڑکی نظریں چھت پر ٹکائے، سوچوں میں گم تھی۔ گلابی رنگ کے نائٹ سوٹ میں ملبوس اس لڑکی نے سلیپنگ ماسک ماتھے پر ٹکایا ہوا تھا۔
زرد رنگ کے لحاف میں اس کا گندمی چہرہ دکھائی دے رہا تھا۔ بال الجھے، بکھرے، سرہانے کے دونوں طرف بکھرے پڑے تھے۔
سائیڈ ٹیبل پر پڑا فون وائبریٹ ہونے لگا۔
مندھی مندھی آنکھوں سے گردن موڑ کر فون کو دیکھا۔
“او میڈم، مارننگ ہو گئی ہو اگر آپ کی تو چلیں؟” ایک پرجوش اور ڈھپٹ والی آواز اس کے کانوں میں گرجی۔
اس نے کوفت سے اسکرین دیکھی۔
“ماہم”۔ زیرِ لب نام پڑھا اور منہ پھلا کر کال کاٹ دی۔
