صبح سے ہی عجیب سی بے چینی تھی آج اس کا نکاح تھا کچھ سمجھ نہیں آرہا تھا کہ آگے کیا ہونا ہے اپنی ماں اور بہن کو چھوڑنے کا سوچ سوچ کر وہ صبح سے روئے جارہی تھیں جس پر مریم اور زلیخا بیگم بار بار اسے سمجھاتی ۔لیکن اس کے آنسو تھے جو تھمنے کا نام نہیں لے رہے تھے اور انہیں آنسوؤں کے دوران ہی اس کا نکاح ہوگیا اپنے والد کے سائے کے بغیر ماں کی دعاؤں کے آنچل میں اس نے یہ نکاح تو قبول کر لیا لیکن مولوی صاحب کی آواز کو ٹھیک سے سن بھی نہ پائی شاید آنسوؤں کا دریا ہر چیز پر بھاری تھا ۔نکاح کے بعد رات کو مہندی کی رسم ادا کی گئی اس کے سسرال والے دھوم دھام سے مہندی لائے تھے

جس میں اس کی ماں نے بھرچڑ کر شان سے حصہ لیا اس کی ماں کی آنکھیں بار بار بھیگ رہی تھی کل ان کی چھوٹی بیٹی رخصت ہونے جا رہی تھی اور بڑی بیٹی کے بارے میں ابھی کچھ پتہ نہیں تھا کہ اس کی زندگی میں کیا ہونا ہے اس سے گھونگھٹ میں باہر لایا گیا دھڑکتے دل کے ساتھ لا کر دلہے کے ساتھ بٹھایا گیا دل کی دھڑکنیں تیز ہونے لگیں سینے میں دھڑکتا چھوٹا سا دل سہم سا گیا تھا وہ اپنے ہی دلہے کہ اتنے قریب بیٹھی اپنی دھڑکن شمار کر رہی تھی ۔

دل نے بہت چاہا کہ گھونگھٹ ہٹا کر اس کا دیدار ہی کر لے لیکن ہمت کہاں سے لاتی ۔لیکن پھر اپنے کان کے بالکل قریب آواز سنائی تھی نکاح مبارک ہو مسز حنان سکندر خان ۔وہ اس کے کان کے بالکل قریب انتہائی محبت سے بولا لہجہ جذبات سے بوجھل تھا

لیکن اس کی آواز کو پہچانتے ہوئے وہ فوراً اپنے چہرے سے گھونگھٹ چکی تھیتم ۔۔۔۔۔۔؟ وہ حیرت کا مجسمہ بن نے بولی کتنی بار کہا ہے تم سے کہ مجھے تم نہ کہا کرو اب تو شوہر بن گیا ہوں تھوڑی عزت دے ہی ڈالو وہ ایک آنکھ دبا کر شرارت سے کہتا تھا آس کو اشارہ کرنے لگا اور اگلے دو ہی منٹ میں تمام ہال کی لائٹ اف ہو چکی تھی

وہ بے یقینی سے اس کا مسکراتا ہوا چہرہ دیکھ رہی تھی جو اب اندھیرے میں ڈوب چکا تھا جب اچانک اسے اپنے چہرے پر سخت ہاتھوں کی گرفت محسوس ہوئی اور پھر ایسی ہی ایک گرفت لبوں پر وہ اس کے لبوں کو اپنے ہونٹوں میں قید کیے اس کی سانسیں روک چکا تھا ۔عاشی کا دل زور سے دھڑکا وہ اس کے ہاتھ سینے پہ ہاتھ رکھے اسے خود سے دور کرنے لگی لیکن اس کا چوڑیوں سے بھرا ہاتھ اس کے ہاتھ میں آ چکا تھا

۔سانسیں تھی جو الجھی ہوئی تھی ۔ اس پر ستم یہ کہ یہ شخص رحم کرنا بھی نہیں جانتا تھا ۔ہر طرف شور مچا ہوا تھا کہ لائٹ چلی گئی جبکہ یہاں دلہن کے جان پر بنی تھی اور دلہا اس کی سانسوں کی سلطنت پر اپنی حکومت جمائے دنیا جہان بھولا ہوا تھا ۔اور پھر نہ جانے کیا سوچ کر وہ اس سے دور ہوا پھر اسے اپنی بالکل قریب سے ایک چٹکی کی آواز سنائی دی

اور اگلے ہی لمحے لائٹ اون ہو چکی تھی جب کہ اس کے سر پر ایک بار پھر سے وہ گھونگھٹ ڈال چکا تھا نکاح مبارک ہو ۔۔اب باقی کا پیار محبت ہم کل کریں گے ۔وہ اس کے قریب سے اٹھتے ہوئے اس کے کان میں ایک سرسراتی سی سرگوشی کر گیا

عاشی نے دور تک اسے محسوس کیا تھا ۔اس کے لیے یہی صدمہ بہت برا تھا کہ اس کا شوہر کا نام سکندر خان ہے نہیں وہ کبھی اس آدمی سے شادی نہیں کرنا چاہتی تھی یہ غندہ نما آدمی اُس کا ہمسفر بنے گاجس کی صبح لڑائی سے ہوتی ہے رات کو کسی نہ کسی سے لڑتا ہی رہتا ہے وہ اس سے کبھی شادی نہیں کر سکتی اس زبردستی کی شادی کو ختم کرے گی لیکن اب کیسے اب تو نکاح ہو چکا تھا وہ اپنی ہی سوچوں میں بری طرح سے ڈوبی اپنے آس پاس لہراتے ہوئے دوپٹوں کو دیکھ رہی تھی
