“مسفرہ، مرجان ، بہت خوشی ہوئی تم لوگوں سے مل کر یار! کہاں چلے گئے تھے تم لوگ، نہ کوئی کال نہ کوئی میسج.” ایک ایک کرکے وہ ان دونوں سے بھی گلے ملی تھی. وہ دونوں اسکے پھولے نہ سمانے پہ مسکرادی تھیں.

” اور آپ آئمہ، آپ تو دبئی جاکر ہم سب کو جیسے بھول ہی گئی ہیں!” اس نے شکوہ کیا. آئمہ بھی مسکرادی. ہاں وہ تو واقعی سب کو ہی بھول گئی تھی، صرف یاد تھا تو ولید حسن.

“بس یار ڈیڈ پیراڈائز ہوگئے تھے تو بزنس وغیرہ سب میں نے ہی سنبھالا وہاں جاکر، ابھی کچھ ٹائم پہلے ہی یہاں شفٹ ہوئے ہیں سب کچھ وائینڈ آپ کرکے. “

” افسوس ہوا سن کر، اب کیسے ہیں انکل؟ “

“بہتر ہیں! یہ بتاؤ جس ہینڈسم انسان کے ساتھ تم آئی ہو کون ہے؟” آئمہ نے شرارت سے کہا.

” ہسبینڈ ہیں میرے. یہاں کے سیکرٹری ہیں.”

” اوہ آئی سی لیکن سوری ٹو سے معاز کا کیا ہوا؟ ” آئمہ نے الجھتے کہا، اسکول کے زمانے میں تو ان دونوں کے پیار میں بڑی سچائی محسوس ہوتی تھی.

” اسکی تو بات ہی نہ کریں، زلیل انسان نکلا بڑا. اتنے عرصے تک میں نے اسے کہا کہ اپنے والدین کو بھیجو گھر لیکن آخر ٹائم پہ منع کرکے رفوچکر ہوگیا. صحیح کہتے تھے تم دونوں کہ وہ میرے ساتھ سیریس ہے ہی نہیں کمبخت انسان، اتنا وقت ضائع کیا میں نے اس پر.” آخر میں اس نے دونوں کو کی طرف دیکھتے اپنا دکھڑا سنایا.

” ویسے آپ تینوں یہاں کیسے؟ بلکہ ایک منٹ کہیں ولید بھائی سے شادی تو نہیں کرلی آپ نے؟” اسکا شوہر کس ولید حسن کا سیکریٹری تھا وہ یہ بات جانتی تھی لیکن ولید کی بیگم کون ہے اس بات سے انجان تھی جب ہی بے اختیار ایکسائٹمنٹ میں آتے آئمہ کو دیکھتے سوال کیا.

آئمہ گڑبڑا گئی لیکن پھر بھی یہ خیال اچھا ہی تھا تو بے اختیار مسکرادی.

” کاش ایسا اصل میں ہوتا لیکن فلحال مرجان سے شادی کی ہے ولید نے.” آہستگی سے کہتے آئمہ نے مرجان کی طرف اشارہ کیا. وہ دونوں خاموش ہی رہیں کہ کہیں کوئی بدمزگی نہ ہوجائے. لیکن آئمہ کے چہرے پہ موجود خوشی کی جوت مرجان زیادہ دیر دیکھ نہ پائی اور اسکے چہرے سے نظریں پھیر لی.

” تم سے کیسے کرسکتے ہیں ولید بھائی شادی. آئی مین سوری ٹو سے، تم لوگوں کی تو بنتی نہیں تھی تو ایسے کیسے کرلی! اور پھر آئمہ اور ولید بھائی…..” ہمیشہ کی طرح اسکی چلتی زبان کو مسفرہ کی آواز نے بریک لگایا تھا.

“کم آن منیبہ، ساری پرانی باتیں ہیں، ولید بھائی مرجان کو پسند کرتے تھے، انہوں نے پروپوزل بھجوایا اور شادی ہوگئی، سمپل! “

” اوکے! ویسے کہاں ہیں ولید بھائی نظر نہیں آرہے کہیں! ” آس پاس نظر دوڑاتے اس نے پوچھا. پھر کچھ لوگوں کے ساتھ ایک کونے پہ کھڑا نظر آگیا.

” تھوڑی دیر میں چلتے ہیں، ویسے آئمہ آپ بتائیں نہ ، آپ کو کوئی اور ملا کہ نہیں؟ “

” آئمہ کی پسند نہیں بدلتی منیبہ تم جانتی ہو، جو دل میں بس گیا سو بس گیا! ” گہری سانس خارج کرتے آئمہ کندھے اچکاکر مسکرائی، تو منیبہ نے ایک نظر مرجان پر ڈالی تھی، ابھی تک وہ مرجان اور ولید کی شادی پر حیران تھی. پر سوچوں کو جھٹکتے واپس آئمہ کی طرف متوجہ ہوئیں.

” اچھا آئیں آپ تینوں کو اپنے ہزبینڈ سے ملواؤں. “

” تمہارے ہزبینڈ سے تو میں روز ملتی ہوں تو آئمہ کو لے کر جاؤ میں اور مرجان ابھی آتے ہیں تھوڑی دیر میں.” خوشدلی سے مسفرہ نے مسکرا کر منیبہ سے کہا تو منیبہ آئمہ کا ہاتھ تھام کر رمیز کے پاس لے گئی.
